If you are visiting St. Louis and looking for a great place to spend the day with your family, I would highly recommend the St. Louis Zoo. This zoo is well known as being one of the top zoos in the country and would you believe entrance to the zoo is free. On a recent visit I spent the entire day with my granddaughters and the only money we spent was for lunch. There are some attractions with small fees such as the Children's zoo, the shows, and the railroad, but there was plenty to fill our entire day in the free areas. Visiting the St. Louis Zooa St. Louis tradition The St. Louis Zoo first started when the magnificient bird cage was built for the 1904 World's Fair. Then in 1910 the zoological society was formed and St. Louis was well on its way to having a magnificient zoo that has delighted generations of St. Louis families and visitors from around the globe. I enjoyed the zoo as a child and then brought my children there frequently. When they were growing up each had favorite animals, one the giraffes and the other the monkeys. I recently brought my two granddaughters to the zoo, for a third generation of our family to enjoy the delights that the zoo has to offer.

The exhibition is entitled Murillo at the Wallace Collection: Painting for the Spanish Golden Age.The Wallace Collection includes several religious paintings by Bartolomé Esteban-Murillo. These works were part of the original collection of the 4th Marquess of Hertford, founder of the art gallery. The pieces are being displayed alongside works created by Murillo's workshops and followers. Murillo's Popularity in the 18th and 19th CenturiesAlthough Murillo's work was popular in the 18th and 19th centuries, he was not so popular in later years. Critics thought his work too sentimental and only useful as chocolate box decoration. However, thanks to new research, he is now regarded as one of the finest 17th-century Spanish painters.

Many of his paintings were commisioned by religious organisations such as the Hospital de la Caridad and Seville Cathedral. In 1682 Murillo was injured while painting the Marriage of Saint Catherine for the Capuchin Church in Cádiz. He died from his injuries on 3rd April 1682. The modular booth is mainly used in some product exhibitions. It is mainly used for temporary exhibitions, so it can be used multiple times. Multiple use can save the company a certain amount of money. In the early days, the booth was built using wood materials, which were not recyclable and also a kind of damage to the environment. Because of its use, it requires a lot of wood for production, resulting in a lot of waste.Highlights of the ExhibitionThe Charity of Saint Thomas of VillanuevaOne of the most important works featured in the display is The Charity of Saint Thomas of Villanueva (c.1610).
